Bug markers far outside a bug's real habitat are gone. Step-by-step guides with the full recipe, where to get every ingredient and what each item is used for.

• Guides - How to Make Fish Stew, How to Make Leather and How to Make Muujin Bahari, each with live maps of the ingredients and item cards when you hover a name. Find them under Guides in the menu. Read the guides

• Bug markers - Bugs that briefly pop to the wrong spot in the game no longer leave markers there. Brushtail Dragonfly, Garden Mantis and Princess Ladybug no longer show in Mirror Fields, Maji's Hollow or Chapaa Crossing, crabs no longer show inland in Bahari, and the same cleanup applies to every bug in Kilima, Bahari and Elderwood. The Golden Glory Bee gets back spots that were hidden before. Open the map

Material pages in the database now show which trees, bushes and ore nodes they come from. The Royal Highlands map and the Timed Events guide show the 10 real campsite spots again. Track amber-encased versions of one bug, plant, ore, tree or creature only, for example amber Flame Queens.

• Amber Echo filters per target - The Amber Echo section now has Bugs, Foraging, Hunting, Lumberjacking and Mining groups with an amber filter for each of the 51 Royal Highlands targets that can be encased in amber (Flame Queen, Wild Garlic, Iron, Lantern Ash, Sernuk and more). An amber-encased target now shows under its amber filter instead of its regular one. Turn on the ones you want in the Amber Echo section. "Enable all variants" still leaves amber out. • Database - Plant Fiber, wood, ores, stones, gems, tree seeds and amber now list a "Gathered From" section (for example Plant Fiber: bushes plus Oak, Birch, Juniper, Pine and Ancient trees). Open Plant Fiber

• Campsites - The Royal Highlands showed 83 campsite markers, most of them in places where no campsite can appear. Now only the 10 spots where the daily campsites can appear are shown (2 of them are active each day). Open the Timed Events guide

You can now see where other players have placed lures. The in-game overlay can now hide the map and show just a small panel with the things you check most. Bug markers now only show where each bug really spawns.

• Lures - Honey Lures, Honeybee Lures and Jack O' Lantern Lures that anyone places near you now show on the map and minimap while live tracking is on, with a ring for the area where the extra bugs appear. Find them under Bugs > Lures in the filters.
• Widgets Only overlay - Preview for Elite Supporters, coming to everyone later. In the Companion App overlay, the new list button on the minimap toolbar swaps the map for a small movable panel with your current zone, the grid square you are standing in, the Palia time and your Weekly Wants progress. "Show Map" in the panel brings the map back, and you can bind a hotkey for it under Settings > In-Game Hotkeys > Widgets Only Overlay. Hide Controls makes the panel click-through like the minimap.

• Bug markers no longer cover the whole map with old sightings from lured or misplaced bugs. For example, the Duskwing Butterfly now only shows in Maji's Hollow and the Bahari Glowbug no longer shows on the beaches. Open the map

• Decor category in the filter list: Elderwood Decor and Aristocrat's Decor are now grouped together under one Decor header, like Foraging and Bugs. Open the map
• Fishing (Plushies) - all 10 fish plushies together in one group, so you can set their size, alerts and labels at once. Open the map
• Fishing (Misc) - waterlogged chests, trash (boot, wagon wheel, ship fragments), fished-up cooking recipes, the Grubby Ducky and quest catches in one group. The rarity groups now only contain fish.
• Grid label size - with Show Grid on, a new Label Size slider makes the grid labels (A1, B2, ...) up to three times bigger, so they are easy to read on a second screen. The labels also have a darker outline now, so they stand out on bright parts of the map. Applies to the website, the Companion App and the Overwolf app. Open the map

• Forage you picked, and forage that is fading out, now disappears from the live map right away instead of staying until you walk out of range. Companion App 19.1.11 (restart the app to update) and Overwolf app 4.31.28.

Every campfire you can grill at outside the Royal Highlands campsites is now on the map. Fish plushies and non-fish catches no longer hide between the fish of the rarity groups. All 6 hidden treasure chests of the Maji Market are now on the Fairgrounds map. Forage you pick no longer stays on the map in live mode.

• Campfire - the 14 lit campfires in Kilima, Bahari Bay and Elderwood that work as a cooking station for grilling, under Locations. The one on the Kilima beach only appears during Reth's Beach Luau. Open the map
• Maji Market Treasure Chest - the 6 chests you need for the Lucky Treasure Hunter stamp, including the ones on rooftops, under Timed Events. They are only there while the Maji Market is open. Open the map
